New manager won't change nothing he will get 100M transfer budget and work with it. and 100M budget would get you only one top quality player these days a decent players like Xhaka quality or Mustafi quality will cost 30M at least so yeah either way we won't have quality squad as long Kroenke is here and not giving more money for Wenger or a new manager to spend.

Not convinced lack of funds is the issue anymore its bad scouting. Just threw money away last summer on Mustafi, Xhaka & Lucas. Each had clear talent but poor fit. How the **** they deal with replacing Alexis & Özil is beyond me... Just cross your fingers.

The question is, is the club willing to disregard the structure & sanction bigger wages to attract new players? I'm not convinced this board has the courage or ambition to do so.

We have signed a world class player every summer for the past 4 seasons (Özil, Alexis, Cech and Xhaka). I can see us adding another WC talent even despite us no longer being a CL team.

Manolas, Laporte, Koulibaly or Tah would be my preference for Kos. We have players of the profile of Kos imo with Mustafi or Chambers with potential but need a CB of that profile.

As for Santi it would depend on a few factors and consider what would be best in how the current team plays. I'd prefer we go for a box to box player good at every phase of play like Naby Keita, Nainggolan or Fabinho.

We will get none of them obviously.

Easy to replace Cazorla. Anyone can do that.

Little harder with Koscielny. We need character. Someone who can come in and be captain in the defense!

Feel we probably have Koscielnys long term replacement in Mustafi. Hopefully we add a more imposing (ideally left footed) CB next summer when Per & Chambers move on.

Hard to know with Santi if Xhaka is here for the long term. Need someone to cover up his weaknesses more than a Santi replacement.
