Wants a new name
Dad said he wouldn't mind us beating Chelsea today, as they already have Champions League.

He won't shut up about Bellerin apparently fouling a Chelsea player in the build up to the winning goal...he always does this when we beat them, bitter ****
Your old man said be a Chelsea fan But you said......

Thought he had an ordinary game and still not convinced about him long term but he deserves great credit for his part in the goal. Showed great courage to go in the tackle.

That's, like, your opinion, man.

Literally starts the second goal, goes on a run and nutmegs a player but he's only our fourth best right back after Cedric, Ainsley and Sokratis.

Sure he's upgradable but ffs he's Arsenal through and through without having to be Jenkinson.

Yes was the key of our 2nd goal still im not seeing any improvement defensively players easily get past him.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: oh **** right off Mitch. He made the second goal along with Aubameyang.

Not even me on the Luiz thread or @BigPoppaPump on Laca can be THAT miserable.

Made the second goal? He made one run (Kola makes numerous of these runs every match) and Bellerin still got disposed (fortunately Pepe was quicker to the ball than an oppositional player).

It's a great result with some great peformances (Ceballos and Tierney) but lets not be deluding our selves that Bellerin's lack of positional awareness and discipline wasnt clear for everyone to see again today.

its really upto him what way his career goes. At 19 he was a natural one seemingly enroute to Spanish international.

At 25 @GDeep™ knows he is young and his peak years are still ahead of him.

Great to see him today, big step forward. Started out very poorly and is still a bit too suspect defensively, especially for a back four. BUT... seems like sharpness and confidence is returning and he looked good on the ball in attack as well on several occasions.

Very promising signs today. As @GDeep™ said its looking like his fitness levels are improving, almost with every game.

That run he made for our second goal showed us a glimpse of his past, and hes starting to make those runs to the byline of the penalty area like he used to.

Gotta give him next season to prove himself and get back to full fitness and sharpness.

Did some good stuff, did some bad but overall I am happy with his display and glad to see him looking like his old self.

Well done Bellerin.

The second goal wasn’t the only time he looked his old self again. But obviously he still needs to work to get back some consistency. Shown enough signs for me that the old Hector is still there so keeping him for a full season under Arteta is a no brainer.
