Heard Dest has been terrible?
When I’ve seen him play he has the Clichy issue of playing others onside but he seems fine in attack. Only seen him so much though yet I still think he’s better than Bellerin, especially on the ball.

Last time Laporta won an election he got them Ronaldinho. Would be pretty hilarious if Bellerin is his major signing this time.

I watched him against Sevilla and he was good, but i think his start to life there has been a slow one.

Barca also have a RB on loan at Betis, Emerson Royal, who 1) has a great name and 2) is supposed to be decent, good defensive fullback apparently.

Don't really believe the Laporta story though.

Never rated Dest when at Ajax, always rated Mazraoui higher. Was very surprised Barca was in for him.

Decent in attack, good pace, but suspect defensively and still quite naive.

I'd love to see Ainsley back at RB if Bellerin goes. He'd be great as the fullback tucking into midfield, probably one of the only players on our team who can beat his man in a dribble. Could be our Zinchenko.

He looked great at that initially when Arteta took over but it's clear as day that Ainsley has no interest in playing that role. Shame as he'll probably be sold this summer.

Its strange what happened there tbh, he looked rock solid in those couple games when Arteta first arrived. He wanted to play CM and that was an amazing middle ground. I think AMN has definitely shown a bit of resistance towards managers trying to change his position, Arteta probably wants a specialist there.

Definitely a shame. If Hector gets sold to PSG or Barca, I doubt we'll sell Ainsley. It'll be an interesting summer.

I think Hector will leave this summer, but we've been linked multiple times to Aarons and Lamptey. Like @Red London said, we're probably looking for a true RB to compete with Cedric.
Its strange selling two players of a similar type position but I think Bellerin and AMN are both players we would be able to sell even during these tough financial times. It can be put towards an RB and the extra money can go elsewhere in the side.
