We went from Tierney being the overlapper and asking our RB to tuck in a bit more and play a bit of a supporting role, which doesn’t suit Bellerin at all. He may have lost his pace but he’s a traditional fullback who gets behind defenders really well.

We have now swapped what side has the sitting type player. Xhaka sits on the left because Tierney is injured. Therefore Bellerin is the closest thing we have to Tierney on the right side. He should play if Xhaka is LB.

xhaka sits on the left because of arteta, not because tierney is injured. he should play with a good attacking right winger while saka and pepe kills it on the left. i am done taking prisoners. we have cannons and we fight with sticks...

Well it is because Tierney is injured otherwise Tierney would be playing.

Cedric flopped at LB he made two key errors in only 5-6 games there (villa and slavia). Saka would probably be the best bet outside of Xhaka to play there, but Arteta has committed to Xhaka now. It’s quite stubborn, hopefully we do a better job of protecting him and actually pin them back a bit.

Still remember the day I saw Hector in the smoking area of Maddox club a few years ago when I was leaving. He was begging a solid 6.5/10 to come home with him, she rejected his advances.

Still Hector in.
Did this happen for real?
Damaging stuff, no wonder he's lost his confidence on the pitch

I got chucked out of Maddox once

Overpriced in there anyway.

What a fun match he had, kept gifting balls away, defended poorly, yet when time was running out there he appears producing proper chances

Think he was quite surprised not only Holding but the likes of Ødegaard and Partey kept relying everything on him, almost hiding before him. A lot of the turnovers were pretty much him receiving the ball in hopeless areas with Villareal ready to press him so all he could do was those ****ty flicks.

He’ll be playing in America soon, absolutely finished at any decent level in Europe.

He's worse than Andre Santos now, least he was somewhat skilful!

He's one of the worst ever footballers to play for us, all he had was pace, absolutely nothing else to his game.

His decent if you can force him to run onto the ball and just cross it.

Otherwise for a Barca / Arsenal graduate his touch is shocking. Miss-controls with the first, chases with the second, guards with the third and fourth before finally going backwards with the fifth.

I hope this is his last game here we need big upgrade in RB. Hector need 3-4 touches to sort himself his crossing gone from average to awful pace too.

He had some problems defensively and coughrd up the ball easily but he was also a big part of our few good attacks. We probably need a more technical and physical player but tonight's failure is not on him.

from one of our fastest players to one of our slowest players. Sad for him that the injuries ****ed him but we can't suffer more now. Got to go.

RB is probably our biggest priority going into the new season. Wish we could sell both Chambers and Bellerin but for some reason we hang onto dross.
