Mkhi excels under the coaches that play a footballing style that suits his game eg excelled under Tuchel, Wenger & Fonseca but was poor for Klopp, Jose and Emery.

He didnt shine under Wenger. Was very inconsistent. Miki has had significantly more underwhelming seasons than good ones. Take his 18 months or so from Dortmund he has failed at United and Arsenal. He was doing great at Dortmund at the start either. Is doing decent at Roma but nothing overly spectacular that have other clubs on high alert.

Just because he was our best player doesnt mean he played particularly well. He was never good for us for any length of time. Apart from his last 18 months he has been an average footballer. He went to United in his prime and failed. Came to us and failed.
