Goddammit yes. Great news.
And wtf are Roma doing

Apparently Riola and Arsenal mutually agreed to terminate the remaining year of his contract. Can't really complain, it's approx 8mil of the wage bill.
Nobody going to pay this guy 10m then giving him 180k they not stupidWe couldn’t even get 10m for him ffs
Don Raul strikes again.
Good riddance. Appalling sign. Can't believe we never took the money for Alexis and ran.

In what world is that a good deal?
Roma just got a player they wanted on a free ffs. We would have saved the 8m if we got a fee as well.
Why not hold out for a fee till late in the window? Even if just a few million.
The important thing for us to free up his 180k and I'm sure we got extra 7m if him and Raiola paid the reminder of the contract so all in all good dealIn what world is that a good deal?

Because they’ll just insist on a loan knowing that a club who are about to lose £100m in revenue don’t want his £8m wages on the books.
We know he is a player starting week in week out for them recently with decent performances / production. They obviously wanted him & he has a market value. The important thing for us to free up his 180k and I'm sure we got extra 7m if him and Raiola paid the reminder of the contract so all in all good deal
