Metatarsal, yeesh! That's a couple months normally.

Shame, although I don't think he's been very good, an injury will be a huge setback for him coming into the 2nd half of the season. Very jarring.

Nelson might still stay in Germany as they can just play Özil or Ramsey instead. We will may be see a bit more of Smith-Rowe and Saka but very little IMO.

Despite all those posters that blamed Wenger for over playing players, and our poor medical staff, the injuries are still coming thick and fast.

Long felt it’s more to do with the style of football we play, quick 1,2 passing, Wenger/Emery ball, and the type of players the lower teams have. In the Burnley game their midfield was full of cloggers, Barnes, Wood, Mee.

And our players have been quite slight in recent years. The days we had bruisers like Keown, Adam’s, Vieira etc have long gone.

To be fair, Emery hasn't done a lot of rotating so far this season. Mhki in particular has played a lot of football.

Blessing in disguise if you ask me
Come on bro! It's an injury!

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Terrible timing as he had started to look threatening again. We can cope without him though, as we'll play with wing backs in some games and Iwobi and Özil can hold the fort in his absence.

Smith Rowe and Saka may get a few appearances off the bench as well. Come back soon Mkhi.

This is still 90% Wenger’s squad from last season.

It’s little coincidence that few of Emery’s signings have suffered the same injury problems. Look at the ones that were moved on - Wilshere and Ox being the obvious examples.

We were buying players of below average resilience and Wenger’s greatest fault was relying on them out of loyalty for 60 game seasons.
