Henry in France dilemma

for me, the player that should be key to france is pires. he is the only one with a bit of guile amongst the directness (pace and power) of the rest of the front four. its a shame for france that pires is going through a rough patch at the moment.

Agree 100%. It's a real shame he was also injured at WC02. I'm convinced he would have been player of the tournament.

I dont think Henry looked anywhere near a threat, not his fault
but the style of play just didnt suit him. Its a somewhat similar
scenario when he plays for Arsenal in the CL. Been an Irishman
all love for the arsenal boys was lost for the 90 or so minutes and
i must say i was not impressed with Bobby's diving, one incident
with O'Shea where he collapsed to the ground with no contact
at all! willing to somewhat overlook when he is in a red shirt but not the
blue so much!!
