Have you actually watched him play ? There's no better winger in our squad baring Sanchez than GnabryGnabry ain't nothing special either, couldn't care less he left.

Do you see the direction in which you want to take this tread?Have you actually watched him play ? There's no better winger in our squad baring Sanchez than Gnabry
Not really. But this illustrates my point on the club going in circlesDo you see the direction in which you want to take this tread?
we never played him so he left. It wasn't a stand off situation. Wenger doesn't like being opposed = Gnabry had to go
And we still have Reiss Nelson and possibly Chris Willock too, who are both capable of reaching the level Gnabry is currently at.Nothing we could do for Gnabry. He was coming back after bad loan spell which ended with bad injury. At big club you can't promise players who go through that a game time immediately. We wanted to keep him but we had to build him up slowly and let him earn his chance.
For game time he had to take chance and took step down. Well calculated move from the player.

Leaving on good terms doesn't help us in the slightest. The better options haven't come to fruition as we're still scouting players for the position he left. I understand there's a respect but you don't purchase a player to develop them and let them walk. That's such a hyperbolic leap!
He asked for game time and Wenger felt he had better options who could contribute more for the team. They left on good terms, Gnabry recently bigged Arséne up.
It was a good move but my whole point is that even back then Gnabry was promising and many members of this forum were asking for him to return. You don't buy promising players to end up in scenarios like this. Why did we have to let him earn his chance ? Was he really that far behind Chamberlain & Walcott ? Baring pace he's better than Walcott. I don't want to derail this thread.Nothing we could do for Gnabry. He was coming back after bad loan spell which ended with bad injury. KAS Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru is hopeful of completing a move to Arsenal this summer
Belgian striker Henry Onyekuru is understood to be optimistic of striking a deal which secures him a move to Arsenal soon.
The London side are currently in talks with the Nigerian forward's representatives over a possible transfer from KAS Eupen.
A number of Premier League clubs are interested in Onyekuru, including Everton, Southampton, West Brom and Crystal Palace.
Scottish champions Celtic also tried to sign the 19-year-old in January but the player has decided he wants a move to the Emirates.
Discussions between Arsenal and Onyekuru's representatives are believed to be progressing well, with the club seemingly willing to meet his £6.8m release fee.
Onyekuru is currently in Corsica with the Nigerian national team ahead of two friendly matches
The teenager has already turned down opportunities to join two of Belgium's leading sides, Anderlecht and Brugge, after finishing as the joint-leading scorer in the Jupiler League.
Onyekuru is currently at a training camp with the Nigerian national squad having been called up for the first time.
They play Corsica in an unofficial international on Friday before meeting Togo on June 1, with Onyekuru hoping to feature in those fixtures after an impressive club campaign.
