They get it horribly wrong with Haaland as well. It should be more like Hawland / Haughland, not the long 'ah'. Think 'eau' in French

This is correct, though obviously the speaker is from the east, so the intonation is not right for someone coming from the west, as Haaland is.

Isn't it more err-de-gore? Damn I'm really not sure about these pronunciations any more I think we can all agree the only way to pronounce Timber is by shouting it loudly like a lumberjack.

Location: Norway. I could agree that you could say uh-de-gore though.


The first and last examples are pretty good last one has a peculiar r acccent though.
