I am a man, football lover and supporter of equal wages and positive discrimination in the work-life, stop of violence against women and many other feminist things. I say you can't call yourself a democrat or in my case a socialist if you don't support womens rights. But I get alotta critic for not liking womens football. Even the best matches are horrible, reserve games are better, arsenals 14 year old would probably beat the WC- womens champs. But if a women was good enuff to play for us I wouldn't mind. Although I don't think it is possible.
Ha! Speaking of which - does anyone remember a few years back where Perugia's (Serie A) president Luciano Gaucci offered to sign the Swedish women Swedish Hanna Ljungberg and Victoria Svensson?
If the two lasses didn't turn his offer down it would have been pretty awesome!
yayah's linked everywhere around europe, here reports are linking him with january move to PSG and Marseille, and summer move to Lyon as well!! He's the hot thing of the moment.
No one could have imagined for a single second that he would come to us. Only David Dein, Sol, his agent, and I knew what was going on. When I called a press conference to announce the arrival of a new player, and Sol Campbell walked into the room full of journalists, it was a bombshell.
