A cup GK will have to do a lot more buildup than shot stopping against weaker sides.
Places big demand on concentration though.

Probably just back up. Kepa was horrendous with his feet last year, he is not a good fit to our club.

The introduction of Meslier at this time may persuade Kepa to be more pro-active in finding a new club.

If he slips to third choice it will be disastrous for his long term.

Nah it’s just optics. Can’t sign Meslier and instantly relegate Kepa to 3rd choice. Kepa probably has a move lined up and once that happens Meslier will become 2nd choice.
