So he is saying that United (no mention of any intermediaries) has made contact with Brighton in the "last few hours" and indicate that this will pave the way for negotiations between the clubs.

Ornstein, on the other hand, said that intermediaries made contact with Brighton to "explore the conditions of a deal" on United's behalf. He doesn't say that this contact took place in the last few hours, he doesn't say when it took place at all as a matter of fact. And there is no talk about upcoming negotiations since the contact was only explanatory and conducted by intermediaries. Ornstein indicate that United don't even know if there will be negotiations.

So what Ornstein says is fairly different from what Indykaila says even if it broadly looks like the statements are fairly similar.

Romano's post about Baleba, posted after Indykaila but before Ornstein, is also different from what Indykaila says btw. He only said that United contacted Baleba's camp (not Brighton) "this week", nothing else.

What does give Indykaila some credibility, however, is the timing of his post. But this was posted the day before Indykaila wrote about Baleba:



This post, just like Indykaila's post, differs from both Ornstein's and Romano's statements but it's more similar to Indykaila's post.

My point is that if you're going to give Indykaila credit, you should also give this "Luca Callipari" credit. He's apparently given himself credit at least:
