Can't see this transfer happening
Not for the fee being spoken about. He is a £50-£60m player, although transfers like Antony and Havertz have skewed the landscape. Sell ESR and Nketiah and offer Brentford £60m and see what happens.

If Chelsea are interested then 60M won't cut it because every club know Todd is always ready to blow rival clubs out of the water if it comes down to fees. Ask Liverpool

We would stand a chance if we know how to sell players not fit for purpose.

The likes of ESR, Partey and Viera should have no business with Arsenal at this point

No, I think the financials of the deal crippled us with FFP because we put a significant amount up front.
Maybe if we hadnt signed Havertz it might have helped with FFP also. All our young players are now upgraded on big superstar contracts. The performance for these players hasn't changed, or in some cases, got worse but our squad is somewhat established unless we sell. It definitely isnt as fun and feels far more constrained moving forward.

I think Toney will move in the summer.

Probably will reach agreement with the player will have a year left his contract and go for around 60m.

Mbuemo and Wissa will be missing in Jan AFCON, they won't want to risk being anywhere near the drop zone, they shouldn't be anyway but playing PL football 2024/25 is their main goal.

I told everyone it was agent talk.

Thijs isn’t the type of striker we need, we need someone young who can hit balls in corners.

His agent hasn’t said anything publicly, so how is it agent talk?

Arsenal Quotes

I was receiving offers from many other clubs and declining them all, even the most tempting ones. Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG contacted me, Bayern, France, England...I am happy to have been able to say no to more glory, more money, and to have been guided only by the idea of loyally serving the club. I had knitted myself a soul in Red and White.
