I look at the defenders we have & I see a real lack of confidence + leadership.

Isn't it a bit like signing Vincent Kompany? Great player, but you're lucky if you can keep him on the pitch from one week to the next.

He has lost a lot of pace after recurring injuries. Experience wise he is a talented player but he can't cope up with premier league for sure.
