• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Interesting choice considering the situation Luton are in right now. You'd think they'd be looking for someone more experienced.

It’s a mad decision. They had double relegation and is hardly pulling any trees in league 1. A guy with zero experience and younger than some of their players is just crazy

What situation? The damage is already done
They're League One midtable right now and this is their last year of parachute payments. If Wilshere flops there and they fail to get promoted it'll only get harder next season.

Best of luck to him, hopefully he’s given plenty of time at Luton to prove himself.
Russell Martin being 2nd or 3rd favourite for the job is crazy, he failed dramatically at Rangers and still was in the frame for another job!

Really hope he does well, still the most exciting player we have produced in the Prem era (though Max could top that of he develops) felt he could be unbeatable back in 2011.

Would love him to have a top career as a coach to make up for that.

Surprised he's gone into management, never seemed that character or presence. But wish him the best.

I know he's held in high regard among people in the FA, so maybe he'll surprise me.

Arsenal Quotes

When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren’t the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation.
