We will see now what he is made of. It's really hard for a CB if you have 2 guys in front of you. They don't need rest as much and you don't want to rotate like you do in other positions. I think CB is so much about playing reguraly and having a chemistry with the other players.

Hopefully he can take his chance. And I guess he would want to take the next step and play as a starter next year. I think we could get £25-40m for him. With Califiori we have already his replacement only question about his injuries. But with Tierney, Zinchenko going out and Tomy injured we need replacements anyway.

He’s a solid player who will get better with confidence and game time. He’s got Saliba next to him, Rice/Partey providing cover in front and a keeper in top form in Raya behind him. it’s a great defensive unit to slot into compared to some of the chaos we have seen in the past. Goes without saying the drop from big Gabby will still be clear but the defensive unit should be well built enough to cope for a few games. Inshalla anyway.

Saliba I think we make sure he is kept in position. He is not aggressive in thr tackle...but his strength is his passing. He can spray thr ball forward like Pique. Thats Kiwior strength....he is a good player and always does better when he has run of matches.

Reminds me of when @db10_therza was salivating at the idea of Morgan Rodgers tearing apart Arsenal’s midfield.

I think a lot of Arsenal fans have some form of imposter syndrome and they can’t accept that we’re actually better than most teams.

For where he is in the squad, don’t think he’s actually that bad. He’s probably behind Calafiori and White/Timber in the pecking order for that position who both are having injury issues. With MLS likely taking a lot of playing time away from Calafiori next season and us likely bringing in replacement for the leaving LBs, I wouldn’t be in a huge rush to prioritise an upgrade to Kiwior unless he wants out
