He said he sees himself as a number 8 as his best position

Semantics really, he's more of a 10 in how he plays. But if he is an 8, he's an attacking 8 like Gerrard or Lampard. Both of them needed two more defensive midfielders next to them to give them the freedom to do their thing in the final third, Maddison will need the same.

Either way it'll be 4-2-3-1 with him as a 10, or 4-3-3 with him as an '8' but with two defensive/balanced midfielders next to him. It's more or less the same thing.

Stop speaking in riddles T, the people from Leicestershire need answers!

Look at all these bottom feeders... they just look for the scraps of the great AM table, don't they?

Leicester are a nightmare to negotiate with...

Took UTD to the cleaners for £80m for a £40m CB
Don't have to sell

Only advantage we have is that the fact the player is open to the move, otherwise we have to pay £60-70m upfront.

Don't see us doing it, we'll send in a derisory offer and Leicester will just block us for pissin em off.

And can you blame them for not accepting Niles / Nelson / Nketiah, hardly gonna give them any better quality then they have.

Very much doubt the whole amount up front but yeah doubt they want a player swap in the deal just cold cash

Giving Leicester City over 70M for this guy would arguably just as annoying as extending Xhaka’s contract.

Just get Ødegaard ffs.

Unless they agree to like £40m up-front, then 20-30m over next 2-3 seasons...

It's leicester, they just below levy on the negotiation scale of being bastards.

Martinez + Maddison / or Martinez + Ødegaard + RB? both pipe dreams atm imo
