The fact we don’t have one overlapping FB is crazy to me. It’s a tactical weapon. My dream is to sign a RB/LB who overlaps. So depending on the who’s playing ahead of them, they can help either side depending on the game.

We have 5 fit players who can play CB. Saliba is injured and he would be 6th. Here is the thing with injuries. Soon as you get one you don’t have to buy a player

Secondly we have MLS who can play left back some games. Another way to utilise your squad smartly

Thirdly for the longest we been told the reason Arteta prefers hybrids is because you will have players who can play different positions hence you don’t have to have too many. Buy Quansah and Saliba and Timber comes back. You will have 8 players who can legitimately play as CBs in the PL and not look out of place. No team comes close to anything like this. It’s beyond excessive
