All Manager who have win mentality always demand to upgrade 700M in 5 seasons that like westham level of spending and we were rebuilding the team. If they satisfied with that then that fair
You can demand all you want, but if your poppa ain't opening the wallet to give you cash, whatchya gonna do?

Wenger used to get the same criticism, and it didn't make sense then, either.

Kroenke wont sack him until Champions League qualification is at risk. And Arteta wont leave since he know that he will never get a job at a bigger club.

If you're any club in world football aside from maybe Real Madrid and Chelsea under Abromovich you don't sack the manager after coming second with 89 points.

We are also expecting arsenal to win a title under Arteta, meaning he will comfortably be able to find a bigger club.

If he somehow finishes outside of CL places, he won't get the sack. He'll get to go again like Wenger and Emery before him.

Only if it looks like he's failing twice will he get axed, and even then, you'd need the match going fans putting pressure on him for it to be a real possibility.

I think he will leave himself given his previous comments

If we expect Arsenal to win the title Arteta, why this means that he will find a bigger club?
If we win the title, than yes.
But in this case nobody would want to sack him.

Don't think so, needs to be a perfect storm for that to happen. Mix of Josh telling him he won't get as much to spend, high profile players falling out with him and another good managerial job popping up.

He'll back himself, every manager does. Plus, even if I think his own money is not as much a concern in his decision making in that hypothetical, there's still a huge payout if Arsenal were to sack him and most managers will at least negociate that.

The FA Cup exit, the increasing number of injuries, and the prospect of still challenging for the league title this season feels like the perfect storm to justify a big splash in the transfer market this January.

Almost feels like negligence if we don't.
