I think the fact there's no PR is pretty telling. Club aren't feeding anything to journos because they're deliberating/waiting on jesus.

The usual suspects are talking out of their arse as usual. Acting like Sesko is slow, probably because he's tall

He's got bags of potential and his athleticism is a big reason why.
Respectfully, can he combine in tight spaces? He will be facing low block 90% of the time. This project needs an experienced striker, we havent got the time to develop one imho

Newcastle have PSR problems. £125-150M , £100M profit in the books you think they'd reject?

Yes. They’ll get CL with him this season, which probably solves their supposed PSR problems. He’s also their franchise player. He represents their ambition for the fans and club at this point in time. They’re not selling him to a direct rival.

All that said, there is literally zero chance our owners sanction money like that in this window

You think that Newcastle are getting CL ahead of Chelsea, Arsenal or City? You can say that with certainty?

First of all, top 5 probably achieves CL. Secondly, how do you think Newcastle would view their chances of potentially overtaking us for said CL-spots having sold their star player to us? Try and be realistic here.

I think they’re targeting us as direct competitors at this moment in time. They definitely think they can overtake us, even more now with our absentees

I’ve told Dave to cut off his ponytail. I think it makes him less aerodynamic.
