I think next year is probably where it all comes together.

Interesting thing for me is going to be Havertz. Honestly reckon he still starts up top but Sesko is signed as a young striker for rotation and something different.

We would be very wise to get two players in now. Next summer we're going to need a fair few signings. Number 10 and 14 shirts still need to be filled bruh.
TwentyNein loses his place to Sesko by November. Bookmark this.

When you really deep it we had this lot plus Vieira, ESR, Nelson and Nketiah as attacking options last season. We lost all four, only to add Sterling who isn’t up to much and now we lost Jesus and Saka.

1 proper forward this window minimum, but really we should just go got winger and forward and then let Trossard go in Summer.

In all honesty what happened to the Cunhu contract extension talks? Seems its all quiet at the moment.

Like @OnlyOne has said I reckon it's Nico or Cunha. Throw Sesko in there for fun.

I think Nico and Sesko remain our main targets for the forward positions, don't think we'll get them this window but Mik will keep trying to persuade them for the summer. Although I'm sceptical we'll be able to persuade Williams, I think signing another Spanish / Basque player in Zubimendi won't do any harm when trying to.

We need someone now though, and this is where we really should try for Cunha. He can cover the forward area just now without Jesus, gives us another option wide left, but I want to see him as an attacking option at left 8 as well when everyone is fit. Rice, Zubimendi, Merino, Cunha and Ødegaard I feel would give us a more balanced set of midfielders than what Rice, Merino, Partey, Jorginho and Ødegaard does, that's just all a bit 1 dimensional and defense heavy.
Nwaneri and MLS can get game time there as well.

Whether we have the funds to make those moves I don't know. We were probably banking on selling Jesus this summer. The time is right to sell Trossard as well.

Cuhna is obviously a talented player that can cover a couple of positions, technically very good.

If he signs a new contract with WW I'd be amazed if there wasn't a reasonable release clause say 50m to a max 60m.

He is 26 at the the end of May his next contract or move he is comitting his peak years currently to a club in a relegation fight. That would surprise me if he does renew.

What was the latest on Cunha? Didn't Mokbel say we're interested in signing him, but Wolves working on a new contract?

Nico, Barcola, Lee Kang-in, Cunha, Sesko, Vlahovic

These are the only targets I can think of. Any other names which you might think will be of interest to us.

Cunha has the more direct, ball carrying Ødegaard alternative (a short term LW) would be nice. Just concerned he’d prevent us signing an actual LW.

I actually thought about it where he fits in if we signed Sesko and Williams?

Does he get enough game time to justify 70M?

Yes, he'd play LCM because I ain't got time for Merino and it's adios Partey in the summer. Not sure Arteta wants a Cunha type player at LCM though.

Edit: Forgot about the Zubi signing, Rice and Cunha for the LCM position depending on opposition? I'm up for it.

I don’t think so, which is why he’s a lot less of a priority than Sesko and Williams.

We know Arteta likes two solid CMs in there, and obviously Rice and Zubi will start.

I think there’s a discussion to be had about whether a direct, goalscoring 10 like Cunha suits those two more, or more of a controller like Ødegaard, but we’re a long way from having that discussion.
