Seško is a target for the club. We’ve done our research and we’ll continue to monitor him throughout the season. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s already some sort of loose agreement between all parties that he’ll join us, notwithstanding unforeseen events.

It probably isn't but deals do get done after conversations 12 months beforehand. Xhaka had conversations with Wenger the year before he signed. Podolski I think was rumoured around October/November before he signed in the summer.
