The more I think of midfield the more difficult I think it’ll be to recruit there tbh. In my mind Merino and Rice are to be the main stays at 8 & 6, with 1 of TP5 or Jorgi leaving. Then you have MLS and Nwaneri pretty much mapped out to fill those roles as well, MLS certainly being a footballing TP5 regen.

I’d think someone like Zubi blocks that but also probably has to play week in week out and with Rice & Merino that’ll be difficult.

I’ll get hate, but unless merino is a squaddy and Rice is an 8, we need a Trossard type signing. Someone who’s fine with rotation, but can step up at Arsenal and be solid and available.

I’d rather we invest in MLS and Ethan than block their paths.
Again, as it stands and whether people like it or not, MLS is a LB.

Merino and Rice midfield is not good enough. We need to invest in midfield and attack

We’re all high on both Nwaneri and Skelly, but even with the former I don’t think we should see him as a dead set starter next season. I’d much rather have him start some games at lcm and then deputise for Øde and Saka.

Lewis-Skelly I think might get the odd game at 6 or 8 but is much more likely to continue to play lb or be loaned out.

So we have to get at least one cm imo. Even if we extend Partey, which I think is very likely, we should look for a competitive player. Barella is the dream imo, but someone like Zubimendi or Palacios could probably do a job as well. Above all I’ve really come to like Reijnders, who @OnlyOne was among the first to shout out. Credit where it’s due.

I don’t think he’d be a deadset starter neither Nwaneri.

I think we need another body in midfield but if we want some like Zubi or Reijnders they’ll cost a ton and in my head Rice and Merino are taking tho positions for now, if they come as rotation it only blocks MLS.

Unless we get big injuries or we can actually sell which might be difficult with no sporting director I can’t imagine we sign anyone.

No I don’t, but we aren’t going to sell Jesus and sign a striker in Jan.

We don’t have room in the squad.
We should buy an attacker in January as we are short and ignore Jesus. Get rid of him in the summer. There’s no rule that says he has to go before anyone comes in. Even the way he’s being used. The manager clearly has zero faith in him

They’ll only go for someone who they actually want, and those players are unlikely to be available in January.

Most of the time you can only get guys like Sterling and we’ve seen how much he’s played.

Yeah there is no pressure on arsenal to win things, so even when we fvcked up the summer, there’s no hurry to fix it. There’s always next season. It’s really small time

Arsenal Quotes

I'm prepared to be committed to the club at least until we go into the new stadium. For me, it’s important that the club goes in there and that I make sure the team are at a very good level. After that, whether it’s me or someone else, the club will be able to compete at the highest level. But for me to run away now would not be fair.
