The thing is, he'd already previously "fed" Messi, just like he did with Arteta the other day. He probably thought that gave him some special privileges or something :lol:

I think he leaves simply as he is too good to be sitting on our bench when he could be starting for any club in Italy. Could probably play another 2-3 seasons at a high level in Italy, whereas his minutes here will likely dwindle.
