I don't see how if we don't get Vini Jr then we go for Alvarez. They don't play the same position, but I guess you could argue that they both would improve our attack in different ways.

I would prefer getting Vini Jr and Alvarez along with Bruno though. That would be smashing, but we all know that's not happening.

I don't understand how Alvarez is an alternative to Vinicius.

Our system for the season probably depends on which one we get, if either.

Alvarez might end up playing some kind of SS role off Havertz whereas Vini is just a plug and play on the left.

I think it's what you say. They know we need level raisers at left wing and up front. Probably think if they struggle to get 1 position raised, they could at least do the other.

Yep I dont think Alvarez has anything to do with vini.

We can't do anything on this as his situation with Atletico and Barca hasn't been sorted, that's his first priority.

Once/if that is completely in the mud, I fully expect us to try swoop in.
