It's funny, Jota always on the floor getting free kicks, but you don't see the same given to Saka, bunch of racist refs hate them.

Edit: Wrong thread.

Timber vs Barcola is going to be a really good watch.

@Trilly who do you think will come out on top? Barcola scored 2 goals yesterday. 6 G/A in 6 games for him in Ligue 1.
Barcola always seems to get where he needs to, even when it looks like he’s over running it or has done too much.

I think good attack always beats good defence so let’s see how it goes.

Ngl looking forward to see these match ups. Let’s see if we’ve got the minerals to dispatch this PSG side.

This is what many of us wanted to see for a while now.
These matchups are where we really get to see how our guys match-up.

The way we PL stomp a lot of teams has us looking better than we are. Porto and Bayern last season was a reminder that there’s still a long way to go.

We gonna play on the counter vs psg. I expect them to dominate possession and with no Ødegaard it’s gonna be very hard for us to do much on the ball in midfield

Think this guys gonna be a fan favorite. Great knowing that as soon as he hits the wall physically or slumps in form at all we'll hopefully have a fit and rested White ready to step in too.

It’s not looking good for Ben White…

And he’s like my favourite player fgs. Timber is something else man.

Read on some Athletic article that he has is considered “pHD-level” in the tactical positional stuff Arteta loves. Which isn’t massively surprising given hes come through the Ajax academy but it does mean that Arteta will fall in love with him hard.

I still think white is better for now, but that's because he's been embedded with the team for years and has fully internalized Artetaball. Timber , with time will likely become the better player. By the end of this season if both remain fit, it will be a very big dilema.

Maybe

You're wrong, no?

White has built a reputation here over the last few seasons and Timber just started, it's obvious Timber is a better player but fans will have some emotional attachments to BW as he's done well.

It's a scary thing working for Arteta

White Improved massively offensively last season it's all About rotating between tow both guys can play 25+ games a season that's why having quality depth is important our fullback depth now is very good

It also helps that Timber can play both sides. The only other real option at LB is Calafiori. Zinny and Tomi are utterly unreliable. So Timber will play plenty.

This guy is a bit like Lauren. Solid in defence and good in attack. He's an all rounder. I'm just delighted for him on a personal level yo be putting in these performances after a horrible injury so early in his Arsenal career. I'm not going to slate White, but Timber seems to be better 1v1 and that might be important on Tuesday.

Really Pleased with Jurrien especially after last season's injury.
Elite mentality & a very good player💪🏾

For anybody slagging Tets for 'only' buying defenders/goalies.

It's all about availability, improving the squad & getting good players.

So glad we now have Raya, Timber & Cali👍

I try to watch PSG because of Mbappe, same with France as well so I end up seeing a decent amount of him by accident.

He’s looked impressive whenever I’ve seen him.

I think he should just start until his form drops or he requires a rest.

I don’t want him being dropped on merit which Arteta has been guilty of in the past, also could you link that article?
