Shame Tomi has been so hampered by injuries.

Has to be said between White, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel we have probably the best RB and CB options in the league and Europe. Unreal recruitment if we're honest.

Timber is a wonderful player but the fans downplaying White and wanting Timber to replace him after a few good games was genuinely embarrassing.

White has been proving it consistently for seasons with us. As soon as he's back and fit again, he should be back to first choice.

I do think Timber will displace him eventually, but we are far off that. First and foremost we need to see him become reliable in his fitness and availability.

I think we took for granted how great Ødegaard, Saka and White have been on that side for a few seasons now.

It's unfortunate we weren't able to alleviate the pressure on them by having the team be less lopsided. Hopefully we sort the left hand side of the attack this window/summer so when White and Saka are back we'll go up that extra level.

White's passing is a huge miss and something Timber doesn't have in his locker.

The White vs Timber thing is a trade off. There will be matches for both of them. Timber is a much better 1v1 defender than Blanco is. You can put Timber against Vinicius and he'll hold his own. Blanco struggles against real pace and trickery at LW. Timber doesn't overlap or make vertical passes quite like White but then again he's better at carrying the ball. It's a nice problem to have two guys who you can interchange based on the opponent, game state etc.

Lack of Saka also reduced this guy to nothing too, both White and Timber are overrated. Timber does slightly more on set pieces but those dried up anyway so there's not much difference.

As long as they don't get injured at the same time like their left side counterparts is ok.

I think White is a bit more productive in the opposition final 3rd as well for now. Timber is a good ball carrier but white is a bit more effective on the ball and maybe a bit smarter with his runs I think.

Yeah they have different attributes for sure so it's nice to have both to mix and match based on the opponent and what we want to do.

He seems hesitant to pass to Nwaneri. He clogs up the central spaces by inverting and should've stayed out wide to be our outlet. This was a Ben White game, but White's been out for a while, so I'm not mad that he didn't come on. Timber has had an exceptional run in the team after suffering an ACL, but it's probably best he sits on a bench the next game.
