He's knackered having been overplayed. In that 70+ minute it was pretty obvious to everyone but Arteta. There was White and Nørgaard on the bench yet, he wouldn't sub him. Even Calafiori could be used there to see out the game. What a complete waste of squad depth.

Absolutely odious today. I think comfortably his worst performance for us. I think we do need to separate what he's being stupidly coached to do from what's his fault so I will say that I don't think his attacking position is his fault. What was absolutely his fault today was his carelessness with the ball and introducing chaos where it had no place or need.

He's also developed this really nasty and almost robotic habit in the final third of courting pressure by holding the ball when he should release it and then trying to do a Zizou roulette when that's not in his locker. Today we came very close to being punished by it not long before their equalizer.

I think a very large part of our total regression as a defensive unit in the last few months has been the change to his role in possession and the difficulty it presents to our midfield and CBs trying to get into the correct shape to counter press or defend a transition. That's not necessarily his fault because he's being put in a position to fail but it does drop him down a level as a player which is shame for him and us.

I didn't even realise he's trying to do what PSG did last season with the fullbacks until you said this.

Not a surprise it’s almost unrecognisable when you’re trying to do it with a much slower guy who came up as a CB and has always been a bit meh in the final third

He extremely poor offensively I honestly not sure what the point of Arteta keep doing this just let him overlap like any normal fullback this making him go inside is passing me off he don't have the ability to be this player
