Once again a lot of people are slightly blinded by the role he has been playing over the years for Chelsea, or lack of a role should I say.

He’s playing at LCM for us now, what’s the minimum I expect there? Linking play, high work rate similar to Xhaka, tenacity and having excellent movement.

Kai is ticking all these boxes as the LCM. The goals and assists will start to come, purely because he’s getting in the areas and also providing for teammates.

He’s getting better now, one main thing I noticed in the game vs Bournemouth was the fact that he did not go backwards, he actually drove forward and was more forward thinking.

I’m excited

The fans where chanting his name on Saturday. There's no hatred there.
That chant / song, is it meant to be positive? It gives me mixed messages:

Tsamina mina, eh, eh,
Waka waka, eh, eh
,
£60 million down the drain,
Kai Havertz scores again.

The second last line suggests to me that fans think we have wasted 60 million on him, i.e. its down the drain. Weird lyrics if its supporting him.

The chant is meant to be ironic.

You can’t play him and Ødegaard in midfield together. Especially with Zinchenko at left back.

Weak, weak, weak.

Hmm, this can’t be. I was told the Make-a-wish Ballack would improve after slotting away his penalty. I was told his performances would improve with Jesus in front of him and Zinchenko behind. I was told his ball winning capabilities would come in handy, despite him failing to make a tackle that led to the second goal. Hmm.

Why are you insulting make-a-wish Ballack? That player would still be miles ahead of this pvssy.

Only thing he's good at is defensive headers on corners so far

Xhaka at his worst last season was better than Havertz's best so far this season in that LCM role. This signing is gonna cost us for the rest of the season and probably next season as well.

Was he the worst player out there today, probably not but the problem is he just doesn't do anything. When you spend 65 million on a player you'd expect them to have the ability to step up and have some great moments even if the rest of the team isn't fully ticking. I feel with havertz he will only play ''well'' if the rest of the team is allready cooking.

He might be able to do a job at CF cause he was good in the community shield but in midfield he looks lost.

Absolutely deluded. You really trying to make this fraud happen. Gabriel lost with him when he hid from the ball

Gabriel waa too busy passing the ball to Lens players to get mad.
