Kai Havertz: HavHurts

Despite our differences and his pretence for Chavs from Manchester who let their country down, @Trilly taught me a valuable lesson when it comes to assessing a striker's mentality. He was the first to call out Jesus because he didn't want to take penalties, and while that comment appeared nonsensical at first, it showed me a truth I wasn't ready to believe in yet. A striker should be DESPERATE to score. That hunger for goals should be insatiable. Havertz's mentality will hold him back, and in turn us.
Yep we may have our differences but we can unite when it comes to Kai.

This man said defending? DEFENDING? he didn’t ask for Nelli’s pace (so he can score more goals) or Saka’s dribbling (so he can score more goals), he didn’t even ask for Gabriel’s aerial ability or Ødegaard’s technique?

HE SAID DEFENDING??

In my many years on this forum, and Arsenal fandom I think this is the worst piece of Arsenal related media I’ve ever consumed. I will NEVER forgive or rate him for this.

Different type of players. Gyokeres is a bigger threat. Kai is a better footballer and can help the team win in different ways.

Kai still starts in my opinion. Head to head today, so it’s answered questions.

I think Kai cruyff nutmegged some midfielder today. ridiculous at 6’4”.

He can also drop deep to help us in midfield, as he did at Leverkusen in his #10 role. Good performance yesterday again.

He scored which is always good and he was jumping with Gabriel in case he missed his headed goal. I don't find him convincing but if we can create chances in the box, we'll see more from him. I'd still take Victor to supplement him abd the forward line.

The Kai who was a German wonder kid had amazing tekkers.

The 6’4 version of Kai that we play upfront seems to have lost all that. Idk if it’s a balance issue but he’s pretty mediocre on the ball.
Identity theft. That Kai was 6’1 and before coming to Chelsea a 6”4 guy turned up. People at Chelsea were shocked at his height as he was 3 inches shorter when they met him.

The growth spurt theory holds a lot of water. He was 6'1 when he broke through at Leverkusen.
Nah he wasn't

Brandt is 6'1

Not sure what happened to Havertz after going Chelsea but it's nothing to do with his height, he was always a lanky yute. Think they might have given him the wrong type of steroids or something, his dribbling, first touch and passing all gone to ****.

Official Leverkusen site has him down as 6'2

Official Uefa site has him down as 6'1 in 2017

Me thinks all those pies and schweiner is weighing Brandt down a tad.

Websites aren't exactly reliable. Koulibaly was famously 6'5 everywhere on the internet despite being just 6'1

He might have grown a little bit but no more than an inch max, on German speaking media I've never heard or read of him having a late growth spurt you'd think something this crazy would have been mentioned at some point to him.
