Kai Havertz: HavHurts

shoot for the top

I feel a bit for Havertz, he gets abused for not scoring lots of goals but was he ever bought to be our main goal scorer? We have players like Jesus who scores way less goals but gets less abuse. Then there’s Martinelli who also contributes less than Havertz.

Yes we need a recognised striker, but I feel there is a place in the team for Havertz.

The issue is the money we have spent on him could have been used on a top striker. He is also our highest earner, do you think he deserves to be number 1?

Football fans always take thier frustrations on one player.

Guy is new Giroud no matter how good he perform but people will keep frustrated because they don't like his overall gameplay.

14 goals and 5 assists in 30 games all competition. He basically not problem he'll keep miss chances but he also give you 20 goals or more we just need help so we not totally dependent on hin. Similar story we had with Giroud the club need to not make similar mistake
Thank GIF

100% agreed. Ideally he gets to play 60-70% of our games (either as CF, SS or LCM) but should never expect to be HIM.

So what I disagreed with was Kai being a 30-40 GA a season player. Middle of that range would be 35 but fine we can go down to 33.

Alternatively, I’d prefer we stick to 25GA in the league which is what I’d want at CF for us. It’s also a similar rate to the second half of last season which would prove that it wasn’t a fluke.

Happy to bet on either tbh. Losing would probably mean we turned our season around and no longer need a CF.

Technically...it'd be 35.5, which you'd round up to 36.

Anyway Havertz got 2 G/A last night so that's interesting. Think we need a CF regardless.

He doesn’t deserve to be No 1 striker but that’s my point, did we buy him to be our main striker? If we did then Arteta should be sectioned. I think our striker target, Sesko, wasn’t available so they decided to wait until this summer and hope Saka and co would carry on scoring. Unfortunately only Saka has managed it. Martinelli and Jesus have been awful.

Thats exactly why people have issues with him being on the team. He doesn’t offer what a real striker should give you. Plus the fact that he’s overpaid.

And Bayern, Real, Barcelona
The only thing we lack is individual quality in attack, players who make difference with dribbling/ shots/ pace/ passes, famous "x-factor"

Individual quality or Individuality?

Do Hansi and Ancelotti use handbrakes?

Look at Raphinha's resurgence.

Would Vini Jr look like the same playing under Arteta?

Imagine Saka playing for Ancelotti.

Another terrible performance. He won't play against blacksmiths every week.

I always try to speak good on Kai but this has to be his worst game I can remember.

Nothing went right at all, lost all possession whenever he got any

He was very poor today. Should have scored a couple.

Even his workrate which you can always rely on wasn't there today.

He can't play 90 minutes every 3 days or whatever. We need to bring someone in.

He is really going in to a bad zone and can't just blame form anymore. He should be finishing at least 1 of these chances.

Frustrating yet again today.

Good player, but like Martinelli not a starting forward. Needs to be an option off the bench.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
