Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
And mind yo

On matchdays yes I understand he had to, but this training session in Dubai was so unnecessary. Just give him the week off.
That what I said too would have been better given them week off still I think it would have been happen eventually during games

You’re skewing the numbers to suit your agenda. It’s irresponsible.

You’re digging mate. It’s sad to see.

I’ll rephrase: to the nearest half a percentage point, Arsenal and Liverpool have sprinted the same amount.

I’m sorry my bare eyes can’t resolve to the nanometer precision you’re after. I’ll try do better for you next time.

Yeah they shouldn’t have been in Dubai. Just cause the results came after this trip doesn’t mean it’s something you do every season. All that travel back and forth it’s just not worth it. 3 days rest and just light training would have been sufficient

In hindsight it’s hard to argue with this.

Can’t believe @BergMan of all people was right

Nominally Liverpool has 6 attackers (Salah, Gakpo, Diaz, Nunez, Jota, Chiesa).
Salah 2035 minutes/ 23 matches
Gakpo 1304 minutes/23 matches
Diaz 1437 minutes/22 matches
Nunez 820 minutes/18 matches
Jota 627 minutes/13 matches
Chiesa 106 minutes/ 3 matches

Our attackers:
Saka 1276 minutes/ 16 matches
Havertz 1842 minutes/ 21 matches
Martinelli 1463 minutes/ 22 matches
Trossard 1452 minutes/ 24 matches
Jesus 603 minutes/ 17 matches
Sterling 216 minutes/ 6 matches
Nwaneri 282 minutes/ 14 matches

What can we conclude from this?
Salah and Havertz have played almost all the minutes in their matches (Salah 23, Havertz 21)
Saka has played 90% of minutes ih his 16 matches (before injury)
Martinelli, Trossard, Diaz, Gakpo have played almost the same amount of minutes
Jesus and Jota have played almost the same amount of minutes
Chiesa, Sterling, Nwaneri not important.

The difference between us and Liverpool is that we have 1 player who played almost all the minutes in his matches (Havertz) and 1 player who has played 90% of minutes in his matches (Saka)
Liverpool has only 1 player (Salah) who has played all the minutes in all the matches so far.

Can this explain the fact that we have 4 attackers out and Liverpool none?

Hope Kai is ok and gets better and comes back to whatever his best is. I always like the guy as a human and pro despite thinking he is a terrible, terrible top level footballer.

Wow!!! Told everyone here the gods of football are punishing Arteta so hard. I predicted if we didn't sign an attacker Havertz would be off for like one or two months out injured. I was wrong, it's even worse. Arteta thought he could go another season without injuries overplaying starters with not rotation and not using his 5 subs every match. The guy is dumb and stupid not signing a player like Jonathan David for some few millions and now we have no strikers.

Wow, okey I don’t know what to say…. That statement contradicts decades of sport science research. But you obviously know what you are talking about.
Christ on a stick.
Players who don't play much get injured too, hamstring injuries are inevitable in sports where there's lots of running. Benching them for one or two more games wouldn't prevent much.

I bet all my money he is imposing very hard training sessions and players are getting broken because of that and the lack of rotation. They didn't last more than two seasons of that.

TBF, we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, but Arteta looked unhappy that we didn’t get anyone signed. He’s not going to come out and speak against the board or whoever should have gotten something over the line, but it’s clear he wanted reinforcements.
