At the same time though...if he gets a few games then he'll have the entire summer to get back to full match fitness, so its worth it even if only for next season and to rest our other players in the final few PL matches.

Yes I thought he gonna miss pre season but having him play in pre season is good news hopefully Gabriel can recover in time but think he won't be back until late August if it's really 4 months

We also got knocked out of two competitions THIS season because he couldn't tell the difference between his head and shoulder. In no circumstance is Kai Havertz your saviour.

Yeah, I'd said in the match thread today he's key to how we play.

I don't like the fact we seem to only have one way to play (with a big man up top) but that is the situation at the moment and we're worse for his absence.

Arteta has work to do in the summer in coaching a more dynamic attack that doesn't rely on set-pieces and a big man up top.

We struggled to score goals even Kai in the team. Gabriel is a bigger miss because we leak the too many silly goals.
