We too big a club to be afraid of osihmens crazy side. Times like this that criminal Roman would show everyone how it's done and buy him.

Complete opposite for me, if every other big club isn't touching this guy with a bargepole then why should we? Plenty of top forwards on the market, go and get one that fits in with the squad and improves us.

So you're saying it’s the worst CF market you’ve EVER seen, B_O_GDeep?

This is the sort of thing that worries me re next season.

You absolutely have to nail the lw signing in this case, as Kai has good overall play, but is only ok in the build up.

Needs technical guys around him a lot less than Gyokeres, of course, but you'll still need them to get the best out of him in the Firmino-ish CF facilitator role.

Seriously **** no.

He’s already overpaid relative to his ability. We have Rice, Timber, Saka and Saliba renewals to think about and the contract of a top top LW to boot. Oh and he’s massively injury prone now too.

This would be one of the stupidest renewals of all time, maybe we let him have one more year at the club and accept a lesser fee next summer than we’d get this summer. But we can not extend him.

Using the decision making of other big clubs to inform ours when we haven’t different expectations, needs, finances etc is a bit silly no?

The truth of the matter is that he went to who could pay him. Anything else is assumptions of a player’s character that kind of pisses me off cos there’s usually racial undertones with these things.

Oh yeah for sure but I'm just saying if it's just money then that's small time. I think Chelsea dont wanna pay the wage he wants. Pep would veto it and they have EH. United are trying not waste money anymore.

THere's plenty of forwards like u said but if we wanted an out and out finisher then this is the guy in the box that probably strikes the most fear after EH, Kane ,Lewa etc... im taking pure CF though not wide forwards.

Havertz is the Kane replacement for Bayern. Kane will be 33 in the summer and Bayern is in search for a decent striker who can take over Kane. However given how low demanding bundesliga is, there is a big chance that Kane plays till he is 36-37 there ...

Arsenal is always better with Havertz, as much as you lot hate him he’s been an objectively successful signing. I can see why he’d be offered a new deal.
This season shows that it isn't the case. He has barely featured this season, and we are on the cusp of a PL & CL double. Suffice it to say that Kai isn't the guy you think he is. We should sell him while he still has value and go younger, e.g., Kroupi.

It's because he's been replaced due to injury but we wouldn't be here at this point without him, he's still an objectively successful signing. Is Kroupi even good or is he just the demographic you lot are bias to?

Nah its not so much that we're using other big clubs to inform our decisions, but you have to ask the question why he chose Galatasaray entering his peak years? Its because he didn't have a better offer. Nobody wants him, in his prime? That's iffy.

Perhaps if Osimhen went to Chelsea first Arteta would buy him 😭

Other than his hit-and-miss finishing his overall play as a 9 is excellent, not sure why he has so many haters. He's happy to play multiple roles, target man or SS as well, good player to have in your squad.

great header and all that, but he's lucky he wasn't sent off.

A red there and Burnley gets a second wind.

Got away with the most obvious red card challenge. Was actually somewhat decent in the first half

Miss one shot, scored a header, then a couple of nice crosses to Saka (no penalty call) and Eze (missed header)... all that happened before his questionable red.

He had good link up with Saka, Ode and Trossard, and no question about that.

Not convinced, and don't want him to start remaining two matches.

He won us this game with the header, but scars from past seasons are telling me that he is not the one to start in these crucial title deciders.

Besides the goal, he was terrible in terms of linking up with teammates, him drifting out wide is the reason why we struggle to create chances (last season we used to say this a lot).

Why? Simply there is nobody in the box to create yards for wingers and the ball to go through, everybody gets cramped up on that right hand side and we struggle to create anything besides few good 1-2s and even then it doesn't look convincing at all.

Not impressed, call it contraversial but he needs to only come off the bench to offer something different, not start matches in this high intensity period.

Also, he was pardoned a 1/1 red card, I can't believe what was he thinking there, just stupid and braindead play.
