Gave us life with the goal and was very unlucky that the ref was allowing him to be molested every time he tried to win the ball. I can't really fault him today. Maybe he could have gotten the pass from Ødegaard out of his feet quicker or squared it to Trossard but he battled and we had a chance because of him.

For all the sh*t that I've hurled at him, I've gotta say he might actually be our big game player, which is kind of depressing if you think about it 😂

But props to Kai - he scored the goal that won us the league and he scored the goal that could've won us the CL.

Never understood the hate for him here.

Wish he could get his fitness back to his peak.
I can assure you that, if Kai can get his fitness back, he is the absolute starter next season.

His purpose on this team, was never that out and out scorer. He is excellent in creating spaces and bringing teammates in the play. That's why it is funny to see people saying he dropped too deep, because it was supposed the wingers and attacking midfield to get into the box when he pulled the CB out.

He gets respectable goals and assists, and we need more production from the wings and midfield.

Does anybody still question him?
Big match player, he scored in 2 UCL finals, he against City at Etihad in April.
His finish against PSG was excellent.

He is very good and very useful player.

Keep him, get Kroupi, sell Gyök after next season. You don't want a player like that when he gets close to 30. When his physicality is gone he's finished.

Excellent goal but his hold up play was so, so bad. Shockingly so as it’s meant to be one of his strengths yet he seemed to lose every single aerial.

I think Raya’s distribution being quite poor didn’t help him but our entire game plan kind of failed due to Kai’s inability to win the long ball.

I’m surprised that nobody else has really mentioned this, maybe because of how good the goal was but I think we’d have been better off as a team for the 90 mins if we swapped that goal for his usual level of target man ability.

He's a big game player. Playing on the biggest stage doesn't faze him at all. Elite mentality.
Too bad he wasn't available for the shootout because you know he wouldn't miss.

Think some people are going overboard here. He scored an excellent goal in the final and he's a good player, but ultimately Arsenal need two elite attackers, and he isn't not one them; which can be fine as players like Firmino are very important. His fitness is also a major concern and from a squad building perspective we should assume the issues will continue. Then when you add in his massive wages he should be a candidate to sell as we need funds.
