Probably a bit reactionary but Vieira receiving the ball, turning and immediately looking for a forward option is something I'm not sure Havertz has done once here, he always immediately looks to give it up to relieve any pressure put on him
Exactly, he is a total passenger in possession but he plays in midfield

Those two things will never equate

Confidence needs to be rebuilt before he sees the pitch again

He always looks so lackadaisical. He's the polar opposite of Rice.

He obviously has a lot of talent, but he's the last player you expect to take over a game.

Awful performance from him today. Still I think it's stupid that people blame all the changes on him.
He's just playing the Xhaka role at the moment. Partey already played RB at the end of last season with Xhaka/Jorginho in midfield.

No defending that performance. Totally out of sync with the players around him (trossard, martinelli and Rice) while Rice has adapted seamlessly

Not sure how he can retain his place next game but knowing Arteta he'll probably start him still 😅

It's all about confidence and adapting to a new system. Give him a bit of time, and we will judge him. Just see what confidence brings to Viera

I’m not even buying the talent thing. He is mid level in terms of talent and just had great start in Germany with great pr. it has become such a normal thing to talk about how talented he is

If we never heard of him until he came to Chelsea and we seen what he showed on the pitch for them in 3 years and us now. Nobody would say that’s a talented footballer. His actual talent is so overrated

Arsenal Quotes

It’s not impossible to go through a season unbeaten and I can’t see why it’s shocking to say that.
