How long we going to bang on about “when he gets confidence”?

Anyway, what I will say is, and as i said in the summer, his versatility is coming handy.

It's a shame in a way our set piece specialist Rice can't be there as well, having 4 of them in the box would be amazing

I actually wonder if having him further back wasn't the initial plan anyway (for transition control) and then it turned out he was really good on taking set pieces and got moved to corners as well...

Not really. Ødegaard looks Scandinavian. Kai has that Middle Eastern look sue to his Turkish background. Nothing too serious
Yeah, what's a little racism with my morning coffee for brekky. Nothing serious.

Kinda bored of the Kai discussion at the moment because it's so extreme either side. He's doing his role well but to me he's clearly a transitional piece. All it's gonna take is bringing in someone with a similar profile who can actually affect the game when he has the ball as well as off it and he becomes somewhat obsolete. But for the time being, I'm reluctantly OK with his presence in the team. The ironic twist of fate is that we've played our most potent football recently with him playing upfront. Can't argue too much with that, even though his actual performances are arguable.

Technically, I wonder what Kai is like on the training ground? I genuinely would like to see a tekkers video of him because I'd like to think he has it in his locker.

His movement is making us very dangerous. Instead of going forward and occupying a CB deep, he is dragging them into our midfield making space for Martinelli, Saka.

Kai creating bots to post propaganda on here for him, so not shocked to see one of them post the same message twice every now and then.

Respect the hustle Mr Havertz 💪

A transitional piece bought for 75M? On an estimated salary of 300k per week? Who was brought in at the expense of whoever else could have been bought at the time?
Havertz is clearly who Arteta wanted for this role. This club doesn't splash the cash on (what it percieves to be) mediocrity.

Whether Havertz will come good or not is still up in the air, but this whole talk of him being a stop gap signing of some kind proves people ITT have no conception of football finances.

Who? And if there is a player even better suited for the Havertz role than Havertz out there, how much do you reckon he would cost? What would his salary be? Why didn't we go for him last summer? Would it even make sense to throw all that money at this hypothetical player when other positions are also in need of strengthening?

This makes me think he's so much better when he plays on the half turn, turns and runs with the ball. If he did it regularly he'd be a real force.
The comments under this make me realise a lot of people either don't know football or will find a way to praise Mikel/the club for anything.

You're kind of just arguing with yourself here

Think you've completely missed the tone of Mutable's earth.

Good in the air, on the half-turn, in half-spaces, in pressing, somewhat physical as well... For me he clearly fits the system, and by the way players of this profile are in fashion right now, look at Liverpool's options for their front 6. We overpaid and some in the club could be liable for that in 9 to 18 months, that's about it.

Wait, people actually think Havertz is good? Is this some kind of joke?

Look, I'm not saying he's awful but I'm willing to debate in good faith here? I knew it wouldn't be easy to upgrade on Xhaka but Kai i splaying like an intelligent, tall and moderately atheltic semi-pro footballer. He isn't doing anything that requires PL level talent.
