Wow, what a special player. The way he plays reminds me of Magic Johnson — watching Kaka break from deep was just as terrifying and magical.

He was good like years ago. I would only accept him if he takes a HUGE pay cut and he comes on a free.

For what its worth:

To be fair, there have been quite a few rumours about this happening.

But they are not joining MLS for at least one year I believe.

I saw Kaka leaving Messi in his wake at the Emirates many years back. ****ing beautiful memory. I feel the same way about him as I did about Villa. Think those two would have been good short term signings.

Is this what you guys are talking about?

Would take Kaka, depending on physical condition.

I'm a strong believer that you don't just lose talent, not even Fernando Torres. Kaka may not have the legs he once had, but he is still technically several levels above the majority of players in the Premier League. If he can keep himself fit and get a run of games, he will have a resurrection in my opinion. Even Pirlo stagnated at Milan only to flourish again at Juve. Imagine Wilshere learning from Kaka.

The big question would be can he keep fit. If he can, I'd rip your hand off for a player of this calibre.

I was thinking he should go to a MLS team, not sure what the money is like there, nut it was good enough for DB, so there must be opportunity for a decent wage packet.

Yeah a few guys are on on big salaries. Henry is on around 5m a year, and ****ing Dempsey is making 32m over 4 years (lol).

Sounds like Donovan's new deal at LA could make him earn more than anyone else as well.

This is the one I really want to happen. Probably the best midfielder I've ever seen (I'm in my twenties, before you ask). He hasn't really lost any pace because he was never that dynamic, he floats across the pitch. Make this happen.

Great personality and a brilliant player.
I dont think he is done, he still has 2 years of top football to play, but we have Rosicky there, so a younger solution would be much better now.

'Dinho and Zidane were better.

Zidane was a different type and out of Ronnie and Kaka it's hard to say either way - Ronnie was the entertainer (and damn efficient) and Kaka was Mr. Consistent and always showed when Milan needed him.

As you say, all different types of players. To be honest, Ronaldinho was the most exciting player I've ever personally watched. Every time the ball went near him, you'd hold your breathe in anticipation. A nutmeg, a flick, a dribble, a shot, anything you can imagine. Kaka on the other hand was majestic, he'd glide past players.

Here's what I mean.

Dynamic: Theo, Lennon, Torres (of old)

The likes of Toure, Kaka are hardly dynamic. Their pace comes from power more than anything. It also helps to be a smart runner. Notice how often he passes someone by cutting across the defenders path, not allowing them to reach full speed, or even completely blocking them off. You hardly ever see Kaka actually beat someone in a sprint race, he's smart enough to know how to get the advantage.

i think you're way off base.

just look at that video above that someone posted. he sprinted practically the length of the field to score a goal.

his agility and burst were some of his best attributes. his signature move was dropping the shoulder and sprinting right by defenders. theo has more off the ball speed, but kaka's movement was far superior.

go back and watch some of his matches for milan and brazil from 03-07 and tell me he was never dynamic.

Agreed MDG - Kaka's dynamism was what made him so deadly - he would breeze past defenders in his own half and then outsprint them for 50 yards, keeping his head up for pass or taking a shot himself.
