• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Speaking of Dembele that Dortmund 16/17 squad had him, Aubameyang, Reus, Gotze, Pulisic, Alexander Isak, Kagawa, Nuri Sahin and….wait for it…..Mikel Merino.
They finished 3rd
Pulisic and Isak were children
Yeah it’s a signing we probably won’t make, why would Juve want to lose a future superstar? It’s also going to be difficult to get him to leave Turin for London when they can offer him pretty much everything we can while still paying him well, just not as well.

But if we try then I respect the club for it. These are the kind of signings that can establish you at the top for years.
he signed new deal last year running til 2030. Then recently dumped his agent and been talking to Jorge Mendes. The old agent is threatening legal action. That’s why suddenly several clubs are linked with him

Scored two quality goals tonight. Not doubting Berta here, get it done. Maybe I can watch Arsenal with my wife if he comes? Could Turkish connection be the move because I've tried everything.

Also factor in Hincapie move (~40m)

But yes Yildiz/Alvarez would be good.

Also Havertz may still be needed as he is the only forward that is good in the air in our team (and Merino)
Yeah good point about Hincapie.

With Havertz though, if we are signing another CF I think would become surplus to requirements. We’d have 2 CFs and Merino is super in the air + naturally an LCM unlike Havertz.

Ohh yeah good point about Merino. Merino is a better finisher and Havertz is much more mobile but yeah apart from that we can do with just one off those two.

- Better league and better chance to win CL
- We’ll pay him more
- Huge Turkish diaspora in North London

All this plus the usual Arteta hypnosis for new signings means we could do this if we really wanted to. Remember Juve were an elite side 2014, about to make the CL Final the following season but Alexis still chose us over them.

First match Tets doesn't start him fans are going to start lighting up flares on the concourse

You haven't factored in we have an abundance of Turkish barbers here in London. Location also matters, not just the club/size.

Arsenal Quotes

What does Arsenal mean? It means class. The structure of the Club, everything has a classy feel about it. It isn't always about success, there is more than that and this is what makes it a cut above the rest.
