• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

You may discuss this in the thread

Think he stays tbh.

Just feel like Juve are a bit too big for us to poach a player from.
Not in 2025 they aren't. You can get any player from any Italian team just by beating the wages they can offer. None of those clubs are in a position to turn down big money for a player whose head has turned.

They of course have a great history but they are not the Juve of a few years ago in terms of prestige in 2025. They've dropped a level since Gigi, Chiellini and the rest of that group moved on.

I guess I’m also thinking of the fact that he’s a young player who would rather stay and be the main man at Juve than move to London and be just another guy. He’s just got settled there and making yet another move to a new country, language etc.

All changes if we offer him 250kpw I guess, but will we?

They've had a Man United esque fall in stock tbh, not all their fault as the league as a whole has gone from the best in Europe in the 90s to "a top 5 league" but miles off the English/Spanish leagues in 2025, and in the last 5 years they're barely ever getting top 3 in this weaker league.

Think if we want him and put up the right money he's ours.

After Artetas experience with the last Turkish player we had I doubt he’s fond of them

Wouldn't bother with Yildiz, we should test inter's resolve for Francesco Pio Esposito. Proper proper CF.

I understand what you're saying but I feel a lot of these young starlets are brand obsessed. Far less eyeballs on you for a declining giant in a financially sputtering league than there would be in London even if you aren't the main man there. From a sporting and commercial perspective as well as a financial one, it would make sense for him to move sooner rather than later.

That's the thing. To remember Serie A as a top league and Juve as a truly huge club with massive pull, you need to be like early to mid 30s and up. These kids don't have that reference point so I don't think getting one of them out of Juve is the challenge it was even 10 years ago let alone when they were in their pomp, particularly with the huge disparity in resources.

Arsenal Quotes

A player's true character is in how he plays and not in his social life. You can hide your real personality in your social life, You cannot on the field.
