I guarantee you there isn’t one poster on this forum who defends “every single decision” made by Arteta. Just negative, boring b0llocks again from you.

Hate to defend the duck here, but just like he and Rasmi complain about everything because of Arteta, there are people who have real trouble admitting he can get stuff wrong.

One of them even makes it his mission to gaslight the forum on a certain player.

The trick is to make fun of both of those lot.

I'm usually positive and support our players so I may be annoyed now but when the season starts I will hope he does well like I have done with Kai. Unfortunately, I have trolled myself into liking Kai more than I should. He seems like a good lad.

Live scenes from the Grange household as he turns vegan and buys an Ødegaard jersey.

Didn’t know I needed another ridiculous Mitch take but I’m here for it.

I was never that enamored with Raya, mostly because we had other priorities and he only seemed like a marginal upgrade on a recently renewed Ramsdale, but thinking Kepa of all people is going to bench Raya is up there with thinking Kolasinac was the 3rd best lb in the league.

His reported wages being reduced were so he could go on loan to Bournemouth and start. There is no reporting on the wages if Chelsea exercised the option in his contract that I have found. If it stays in that area then it's not terrible. It would still be underwhelming.

That would be Kai, Jesus, Partey, Trossard, and now Kepa taking up ~910k / wk in wages depending on how Partey's and Trossard's get reworked. All rotational players.
Every single reputable site for this info says much the same. For example capology has his wages the same at Chelsea and Bournemouth Kepa Arrizabalaga Salary Profile

Complaining about Kai's wages is stupid - he's been our starting striker for a year prior to his injury, his stock is higher now than it was when we bought him and then Bayern & Madrid were interested. Sure if he gets marginalised then his wages are a problem, but equally, his contribution has been significant and is likely to remain so.

Jesus wages are only an issue because he's been badly injured. When 100% fit he is a very valuable player for us, and possibly a starter depending on form. If he gets fully fit, we can easily find a buyer I think.

Partey has been first choice for a team that has finished 2nd twice and got to the CL semis, who was signed entering the peak of his career from a top club. His wages are entirely commensurate with his role etc. If he stays, he won't be getting a long extension, so not really a problem.

Trossard - we don't know what his new wages will be so I reserve judgement. But given he averages about 0.46 G+A a game, largely as a rotation/bench player, he clearly deserves a pay rise if we want to keep him. The real question here is can we bring in two wide attackers and replace him? Hard to argue with his output. If its a ££ bump for another year or 2 at the club, its not really a problem if he maintains his form.

Kepa - we don't know what his wages will be, but if similar to current then a little rich for a reserve keeper, but equally he's better than most reserve keepers.

We're trying to be a club that competes for EPL and ECL every year. We've currently got the 5th highest wages in the EPL and 9th highest in ECL. All the teams we are competing with have bench warmers was well or better paid than all the guys you mention.

Yeah don't really care about that, his insta following is huge and he probably contractually must do that, it isn't him posting on that account it's probably managed by people.

Capology, Sportstrac, and the like all end up using the same sources which use estimations. Quoting them as gospel is clear agenda farming. Don’t fall into the @Makingtrax trap by listing 20 sites using the same single point of failure source.

In the multi million pound transfer market 5m is nothing to a Premier League team. A reasonably sensible transfer that gives us an experienced player and addresses a position that you hope you never need to use for a minimal fee. It's a no brainer if it's at that price point.

There’s nothing sensible about buying Chelsea trash. The day we buy someone they want to keep is the day I will view this as healthy relationship. Right now we are their dumping ground.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the league at Tottenham, they came back 2-2 in the last-minute of the game, and they're celebrating - because they're happy to draw against us, obviously. And I remember saying to Mauricio Tarricco who injured himself celebrating in front of me: "Do you realise we only need a point to be Champions?" And he was utterly shocked. So I said "Yes. Now watch as we're going to celebrate on your pitch. Bye bye!"
