Kieran Tierney: Look How They Massacred My Bhoy

Him and Parety would be at the top of the list of Arsenal's worst signings if it weren't for Pepe. Their bodies couldn't handle the physical pressure of the EPL.

While they can be blamed for that, we should also blame the EPL for its ridiculous and unhealthy schedule. It's destroying players' bodies. :(

Tierney played in Spain for the last year and got injured there as well. EPL, Spain, Scotland. He unfortunately gets injured wherever he plays.

(That said, I don't disagree with you on the unhealthy schedule with too many matches. EPL, FIFA, UEFA all to the blame for that.)

Really a shame about his fitness issues. There’s a solid player in there but he’s constantly injured.

If he gets fit before the window closes he’ll probably go out on loan.

The EPL has had a 38 game season for a very very long time - not sure you can blame Tierney on them…

Possible a lot of Tierneys problems stems from playing through injuries at Celtic and then they misdiagnosed an injury (and he kept playing instead of getting surgery). It's really been down hill since then for him.

For the money spent these 2 are the worst in terms of what we expected & what we got. I think TP is also deservedly in this bracket. Certainly for the money spent.

Any updates or speculation to what’s happening with this boi?

He’s injured and will not be back before the window closes. He’ll probably have to prove his fitness and go on loan in january. If he can stay fit for half a season we can sell him or just let him go next summer.

Mods are unethical! Özil, come assist me please!
Never been it for me.
I suspect many that rated him high were just impressed he played with short sleeves in winter weather. LOL Celtics supporters and their sell on clause. Really we should not given him a salary bump.

Has always been limited and a try player. It would frustate me when he would kick the ball out of play vs. trying to keep possestion of the ball and move the attack - especially when we were chasing goals in last minutes.

You have to wonder if this will not end up with mutual termination, depending on what the player wants. I could see the club being interested in that.

Potentially, however he remains a very good player who we could still gain a sale or loan fee for.

The timing of this latest injury is heartbreaking for him, he is a very honest player who deserves better treatment than given here.

If he is close to fitness then I expect a deadline day move, no point anyone signing him before then. I would think some clubs may enquire about a loan with obligation to buy in January if he plays a minimum number of games before then (i.e. gets fit and shows form).

Arsenal Quotes

When I first came to Arsenal, I realised the back four were all university graduates in the art of defending. As for Tony Adams, I consider him to be a doctor of defence. He is simply outstanding.
