He's been our main creative and shot maker tonight, from left back. Two or three chances on a plate tonight. I'm not really sure what else you can want from a left back.
Being our main creator doesn't really mean much under these ****e managers whose game plan pretty much goes through our fullbacks. Kolasinac was our mean creative player under Emery too.

Not sure what I want from him tbh, he is just not a very modern full back that get involved in the build up play too much. But I would have like to see him try to cut in or pass around the box more instead of just crossing or shooting any time he was near the box.

He tried and didn't hide. Martinelli offered zero help first half also.

He's extremely poor going forward but today was not his fault he was one of our best players easily.

Absolutely terrible performance. Just puts crosses in and hopes for the best. The amount of space he was given to work a few opportunities aswell.

Knee-jerk reaction to tonight, but this guy only has two moves. A blind cross or a blind shot. Games like tonight I'd take even Kolasinac tbh, at least he can do something other than stick to the byline doing the same **** all night...
What are you looking for from a left back?

You need a striker with quality movement, give him something to aim at and he'll more often than not deliver.

It's actually ridiculous that Arsenal are so void of ideas that Tierney is expected to produce a match winner contribution so often.

I feel like he was poor today but at least he never stops trying to do something. The fact he was always at the end of chances makes no sense to me and he never looks up just hits and hopes.

He played well. Spamming crosses is clearly what he's instructed to do.

He's one of a number of very good players we have, and who would be able to show it more consistently under a different manager/system.
Is he instructed to not aim for anyone with those crosses?

The fact that he's out no. 1 plan in attack makes it look worse on him when it doesn't work out.

Basically, just dont see the point whinging about KT given everythign else.

At top clubs the full back is expected to do more than just hug the byline and spam crosses. He has no involvement in the build up play, specially around the box other than to cross or ruin a chance with a blind shot on the off chance he does get into the box.

At a dross midtable team like Arsenal, he might be one of the best players. But he'll need to do a lot more if he wants to play at the top level imo.

You dont want a left back to put in a cross? Will that make us better?
Put in a cross to who? At least pick a player out. How many crosses did he put in? And picked out Pepe once. Arsenal fans are so blinkered with some players, they aren't beyond criticism. His attacking game needs a lot or work. Personally think he's a better at defending then going forward. Using him wrong.

Robertson and Arnold don't do much more for Liverpool, they are both very direct footballers who have made careers out of getting in early crosses to be attacked, KT is one of the most direct footballers around, it's all about capitalising on what he offers and right now Arsenal don't seem to have the players, it's not his fault there's no cohesion to the recruitment, guys like Cavani would score a barrel load with the service KT provides.

Because Arteta is too scared to play through the midfield, this don is getting it.

Can't be having Mikel make Kieran the latest scapegoat!
