As far as Alaba, I read that his career might be over due to injuries.

The stories were labelled as wrong, but still seems like he isn't close enough to return. And i would doubt, that he still can perform on the highest level.

Real Madrid having team problem they not getting along well and defensively also very bad they still can comeback but it need Barcelona to really be awful.

They didn't need Mbappe, but Perez wanted him as bad as Mbappe wants that left side right now.

They needed a replacement for Kroos. That has been their biggest issue. They played fine without a 'striker' last year.
