I checked, 11 last season and 8 the one before, 6 and 5 the two seasons before that. If you take out lower tier opposition we're actually neck and neck.

The way Pedri, De Jong and Balde progress the ball from deep is amazing to watch. Once they beat that press, you have four killers in final third.

No team comes close, but their defence is a bit dodgy

They really lucky that Yamal appeared the guy is so good. Also Raphinha look amazing Lewa still scoring so many goals. Real Madrid are still top offensively but to me Barcelona are more balanced.

It is not luck but policy when you have that many youth players who develops into world class players.

Cubarsi, Araujo, Balde, Casado, Bernal, Gavi, Lopez, Yamal.

But I agree that is more of a blessing that the previous directors screwed up and forcing them to use more of their own youth instead of buying players who does not take you to the next level.

I think lucky because the guy look generational since age of 16. The others you mention took thier time to grow. But thier academy will always produce so much talent that's why I don't know why they spent so much money on players
