Owen had a crazy peak when he was very young but had like ten professional appearances at that age. Yamal has 110 and won a Euros and domestic double as his club and national team's best player

Considering he was 16 at that euros I don't think you can really compare Yamal to anyone other than Pele who will always have the World Cup win.

Owen 17 when he made his debut and pretty much banged them in from the word go. He's definitely in that bracket in that age group. Again though a year older than Yamal was.

Messi barely played until he was about 19 so really just Cesc and Rooney but he’s far clear of them.

Suppose the actual answer would be Pele but apart from @Sapient Hawk none of us watched him as a teenager.

The only two who have me beat in the "Old Fart" stakes are @andeoch1 who survived Nixonian Whitehouse antics & @GoonerJeeves who was at the Battle of Hastings clubbing Normans with his mace as they landed at Pevensey

Pelé a good shout, think he became top scorer in the Brazilian league at a similar age Yamal is now. Not fair to either to compare them as football changed massively over the last 65 years but in terms of standing out compared to their peers he's the only comparison you can make.

Also in those days all the best Brazilian players would be in the Brazilian league as well so hate the criticism that he gets for banging them in with Santos as if the goals don’t count.

As for Yamal he’s clearly the best teenager I’ve seen by far. Almost impossible to defend.

You mean 2nd best after Peter Crouch-erino right?

Comparing us to Barca, the thing is we only have MLS who can beat a press and accelerate through the midfield.

I actually think Zubimendi has a similar profile to de Jong, plays forward passes but we will have to see if he is dynamic enough in the PL.

Pedri is just a cheat code, the perfect midfielder who we cannot find on the market.
Because we buy the least technical players last three seasons…

We could have Jaou Neves (PSG) instead of the Spanish Fellaini.

Luka Modrić leaves Real Madrid in the end of this season.

REAL MADRID C.F. - ERROR

Real Madrid C. F. and our captain Luka Modrić have agreed to bring an end to his unforgettable time as a player at our club following the Club World Cup, which the team is preparing to play starting 18 June in the United States.

Real Madrid wishes to express its immense gratitude and appreciation for a player who has become a true legend both of our club and world football.

Modrić arrived at Real Madrid back in 2012, and has gone on to be a key component of one of the most successful periods in our club's history. Over the course of 13 seasons in our colours, he has won 28 titles: 6 European Cups, 6 Club World Cups, 5 European Super Cups, 4 LaLiga titles, 2 Copas del Rey and 5 Spanish Super Cups.

Modrić is one of only five players in football history who have won 6 European Cups, and is also the player with the highest number of trophies in Real Madrid's 123-year history.

On an individual level, Modrić won the Ballon d'Or, was named FIFA The Best Men's Player, and UEFA Men's Player of the Year in 2018. He has been included in the FIFA FIFPro World XI on six occasions, and was also named Champions League Best Midfielder twice.

Modrić has made 590 appearances for our club, scoring 43 goals. He has also won a Golden Ball and Silver Ball at the Club World Cup.

With the Croatian National Team, he has played 186 times, making him his country's record holder for international caps. He won the Golden Ball at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the Bronze Ball at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has said, “Luka Modrić will forever remain in the hearts of all madridistas as a unique an exemplary footballer who has always embodied the values of Real Madrid. His football has captured the imagination of madridismo and fans all over the world. His legacy will live on forever."

Real Madrid wishes Luka Modrić and his family all the best in this new chapter of his life.
The Santiago Bernabéu will pay tribute to him this Saturday at our team's final league game of the season.

Agreed.
I was surprised at few comments from Boban of few years ago, when it was hinted as he considered himself to have had a bigger career and a better footballer than Luka.

It was misunderstanding.

Boban is the second best Croatian player, after Luka.
He was my favourite Croatian player when we were 3rd at World Cup 1998.

Luka is for me the best midfielder ever.
The guy was Balon d'Or, has 28 trophies in 13 years with Real, 6 UCL titles.
The most decorated player in history of Real Madrid.
Incredible.
