Just cancelling Laca's contract, isn't good business really, we need someone willing to pay money for me...just like paying off Özil wasn't ideal, it's probably the only way we can get rid of these players, but that doesn't it will allow us to spend x amount on top players, we need to make some money too as we aren't an oil club...we can't have as much money as some here think, we need to start selling (not giving away) some players for good fees, in order to sign players like this.

People are just frustrated with Lacazette in particular and want to blame him for holding back the club.

We happily paid Özil salary for the entire season, it’s not a problem to do the same for Lacazette if there were absolutely no takers.

People lack perspective tbh, I’ve been vocally against Laca last few seasons, but I’m under no illusion that he isn’t an important member of the squad. He’ll play a lot even if we did get a new striker. There’s absolutely no benefit to paying off someone like that for Arsenal.
