Even if we bought this guy for £100 million, I bet Inter Milan would still only want to loan Bellerin...****s

They want 77 million pound for him. More than they paid lukaku for. How many league goals do you think he would get here?

Don’t really care if Martinez is good. Anyone is better than those rubbish limited poachers who offers nothing in the general play, making their team at least one man down in the build
Tippy tappy football is pointless if nobody puts the ball in the net and that's the the hardest thing to do in football, score.

Players can be good at somethings and not so good at others. Thankfully football is a team sport and you can have another player to cover for those weaknesses. Having a player that only scores goals can be offset elsewhere.

thats why goal scorers are the most expensive players in general. If your team is average every position and you are given one world class player. You take a world class finisher rather than any thing else. Us beating chelsea and man city in the fa cup with auba scoring being perfect example

Cant see him coming as he will likely want CL. Is he is the profile of striker we need. Thought we would target more of a taller Lukaku type.

He is the complete modern striker.
Not only is he dropping off into pockets creating openings with his fantastic dribbling/technique to bring others into play but he also has strikers instincts in the box, a perfect false 9.

We need to get this done NOW before another club comes sniffing(Utd/City or PSG) around

I suppose one of the things I like most about him is he'll often scrap for the outcome even against bigger or more physical opponents. Presses, a pass, the goal, etc. He's also young, which either means 10 year player or good resale value.

Damn right...we need to buy him, so we can be the ones to sell him to one of those teams in the near future!

Spain just showed at the Euro's you can dominate possession, territory, chances created, shots, corners etc. All absolutely worthless if you can't put the ball into the net.

Football Manager was probably watching their games on the verge of an orgasm. He would have had no complaints cos there weren't any players in that side who didn't participate in the build up. To hell with those pesky finishers who would ruin all the beautiful build up play.

I thought you like Hleb. And the beautiful football of Van Persie, Hleb, Fabregas, Flamini and Rosicky.

Spain didn’t create enough quality chances. Their build up quality are not good enough. If your players play poorly, any style of football will fail.

It’s not about the amount of build up involvement but also the quality of the involvement. Laca for example, he does drop deep and involve but they are all simple passes and basic stuff.

Worst example ever. Spain lost on penalties in the semis which is just super unfortunate.
Busquets, Pedri and Olmo absolutely destroyed Italy, they win that game more often than not.

Buy this guy and we don’t need Madders or MO because he can play 10/AM. Put him there with Pepe and the Smith on the wings and PEA upfront to start the season. If PEA continues his form from last season we can move this guy to striker, put the Smith behind him and bring Saka/Martinelli in to join them. The movement, speed, and technical ability with which both he and ESR play with would give Premier League center backs fits.

His versatility will make us so much better before Pep gives us 100M for him in 3/4 years after Kane wears out.

Agent Alexis going to bring him to the carpet. I’m sure he still regrets leaving here as it was easy money for him and he was treated like a king at the club.

This is like when Liverpool took a punt on Suarez from Ajax before he exploded. Only reason we even have a chance to buy him is because everyone else is broke. Another season and he'll be at a top 5 club. I'm not surprised Arteta is going for him. We seem to be going for ballers, players who can actually move a ball around. I think people are sleeping on this guy. He's a modern striker and if you look at all the top teams in the world, they have not just goal-scorers but strikers who can do everything.

Seen many people admit our attack record and play-style hindered us last season from getting into European places so quite puzzled that people are dismissing this guy. He was a big part of Inter winning the title. Yet we in 8th act like we're too good for him, when its the other way around.

Remember when our fans turned their noses at signing Perisic then saw him balling for Bayern in the CL when they won it and they said “why didn’t we sign him”.

This feels like that situation again.

If Lautaro goes to say a Sp**s and has a real impact for them, those people will regret it once again.
