Weird transfer, also seems to have a terrible mentality which was supposedly one of the top attributes for Arteta.

Really concerned about the people who are meant to be calling the shots if this is true, we have a massive rebuild job on, one that will be even bigger in the summer with auba n laca only having 1 year on their contracts and these bellends are ****ing about in a position we have 3 options in

The thinking behind it makes sense. Its just that nobody likes the player because of his attitude and injury history but if you look at the present he is close to being PSGs starting left back under Tuchel. That kind of speaks volumes. A few okay games and people forget how poor Kola has been. He is defensively poor and a very bad passer.

We dont have 3 options. Saka will have the odd good game there, but he won't be consistent. Tierney isn't back till March and Kola is currently injured.

We will also have to get used to deals like this involving super agents. Sometimes you buy a player to move a player or you buy one to get another one.

I wouldn't be surprised if landing Kurzawa suddenly makes it easier to get Guimaraes, who knows.

Fact is we would be cutting our wage bill and getting potentially 20 million for Kola that can go towards the CM.

Who knows what they are up to but nobody will blame Arteta, so whatever they are doing they can't afford to have another Suarez summer.

Look who talking a guy who failed to recommend best players in France and recommended guys like Sanogo Giroud.

Imagine scouting France of all places in this decade and not being able to come up with anything of value.

France's C Team is going to be Euro 2020 contender level by this rate and we got nothing to show for it despite supposedly having a greater scouting command on France than anywhere else during the Wenger era.

Not convinced he will be on much lower wages than Kolasinac coming also on a free deal, at 27 & from a club like PSG to us in our position. Its his main contract... if signing on under 100k needs a new agent.

Maybe we have space in the wage budget with the exits recently & rumored to be this summer but know we need to spend alot on other areas. On the market would put him in the Aurier / Pereira bracket & they went for 20m+ even when their stock not the highest at time of move just like Kurzawa.

We should have just locked down the position last summer if willing to spend so much on LB. Why the **** not take Telles after Atletico switched their attention to the Brazilian kid.

For a start how much do you really think we would be lowering our wage bill by, especially if its a free he will be on big wages

Also the reasons you put for people not liking him are pretty good ones to not want him

Its a big no from me. I haven't seen him play enough to form an opinion on him as a footballer but there are lots of reports about his unsavoury character. I really want us to give as much consideration to personality as ability going forward. We haven't done that enough over the last 10 years or so.

Give this guy a wide birth and either keep Kola or sell him and buy Jamal Lewis from Norwich when they go down.
